“I work with members of families who are just starting the switch to a healthier lifestyle & who want support to find the most fun and easy route!” ~Natalie Lawson

About

Natalie has a degree in Early Childhood Education in addition to a Certification in Holistic Health from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and Columbia University. She has been teaching children and adults in many capacities for over seven years. Currently, she is working one-on-one with individuals in her Health Counseling Practice. She gives lectures on current health topics here in the valley as well as via her website.

“My passion is to help bring families together & gain the wisdom they need to see themselves as their own authority on what to eat – instead of pharmacists, fad diets, the government, or the fickle modern nutrition scientists.” ~Natalie Lawson

Education and Certification

She received her training at the only school integrating all the different dietary theories – combining the knowledge of ancient and traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods. Her certification is through IIN and Columbia U., in New York. Her Early Childhood Education degree was home-grown right here in AZ. And, she is affiliated with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.

“My mission is, especially, to teach those people who influence others the most: parents, teachers, and anyone in the helping professions.” ~Natalie Lawson

Experience

  • Most recently, Natalie has been counseling and teaching on health and nutrition. Previously, she taught in the ballroom dancing world, specializing in Lindy Hop which is still her favorite hobby.
  • She teaches about wild edibles of the desert to her current clients. Previously, she taught primitive survival skills leading wilderness treks for high school students as well as adults.
  • She also has extensive experience teaching young children. Now she is offering kids’ cooking classes. Previously, she has taught preschool, taught children with autism through methods like play ABA and DTT, and taught her own innovative children’s emergent dance classes.
“I love to pass on to others my interesting skills and talents.”  ~Natalie Lawson
